Modern Dance / 2009-2010
Girls and Boys ages 4 thru high school. Starts week of November 4 thru May. Cost is $95. Volunteers needed. Dance classes will be held at the PAL dance studio at the Ridge Ave PAL building. We teach the basics of ballet in the younger classes with some modern/jazz type steps as they progress. Each year is a different theme for the recital and students start practicing those dance routines in January. Volunteers Needed
Volunteers are needed for our dance program. Anyone interested in helping a few hours a week now and then is welcome to join us. Sometimes new ideas or a helping hand are needed requiring no skills and occasionally a special skill is required. We are making up a program book for the recital which will include a “Patrons and Advertisers” section. If you wish to be a patron, please print your message below. One line is $3.00 with a maximum of 50 characters per line (including spaces, punctuation, etc.) You may purchase as many lines as you wish.

You may also get business cards from any business at a cost of $20.00 per card to advertise their services. The only messages that will be permitted to be under the card in the book will be “Good Luck (name of dancer). Do not write on the business card or we will not add it to the book. The only photos that will be accepted for the ad book will be for graduating high school seniors in the dance program. There will be one book available for each pre-paid adult ticket purchased and one for each business card ad placed in the book. Any adult ticket purchased after the pre-sale dates will receive the insert stating the line-up of the class dances. I suggest you pre-purchase your tickets if you would like the complete book.
ALL ORDERS MUST BE TURNED IN AT THE DANCE PRACTICE ON THURSDAY MAY 7TH.

Ticket Prices for the recital:
Discounted Pre Sale tickets will be available on Tuesday May 5th and Thursday May 7th for $10.00 per adult and $5.00 for anyone under 18. Ages 3 and under are free. Cash only! Full price tickets will be sold Thursday May 14th and at the door the night of recital for $15.00 per adult and $10.00 for anyone under 18. Ages 3 and under are free. Cash only!
Special recital practices:
The recital practices are MANDATORY for EVERY STUDENT, there are no exceptions! Every student for needs to attend both class nights and arrive at 5:30pm and be prepared to stay until 9:00pm on the following dates: Tuesday May 5th, Thursday May 8th, and Thursday May 14th.
FULL DRESS REHEARSAL IS:
Thursday May 14th, again, be prepared to stay from 5:30pm until 9:00pm.
**Please be advised that the EHT PAL Dance Program follows the same closing schedule as the Egg Harbor Township School District. If the EHT School District is closed, there will not be dance practice. Dance Fundraiser:
The fundraiser for the Corbi Pizza and Pasta has been extended and the new date to have your orders turned in is Tuesday November 25. The pizzas will be delivered on Thursday December 11th and can be picked up at the Dance Building on Ridge Avenue between from 7pm and 9pm
